You Will Succeed

Learning to code is hard. You will have doubts. You will say, "I'm not right for this". You may think, "This is too hard" or "Everyone is learning faster than me".

This is what we call Imposter Syndrome. Let me just tell you now that anyone can learn to code.

Please read this article:
Can anyone learn to code?

Getting Help

Getting help is crucial when learning to code. That is why I provide a FREE chatroom

Also - you will want to search for answers to your questions and post your own. In addition to the chatroom you can post and search questions in the forums

Here are some tips on becoming the best learner:

  • Search for 1-3 hours on Google before posting a problem to get help (this is a crucial learning experience)
  • If someone else is asking a question - try and solve it! Teaching others is one of the best ways to learn
  • Make friends and help others - these are great connections to have and your friends will be more likely to help you :)
Make A Plan

Make a plan with your career or app development goals.

I recommend taking aside a certain amount of time every day to watch videos and then spend time coding.

Some tips:

  • Don't let one day go by without writing code! Code every day!
  • Allocate time every day to watch the videos and learn
  • Plan out an app and start building it as you are learning - building your own apps is one of the best ways to learn
  • Focus on a few key areas and don't learn a ton of new things. I recommend learning these items and dropping other things at the same time:
